   When I first purchased this product I was a little skeptical of the quality of the video camera, however i can honestly say that the video quality is good it's not HD but clear & static free and i can see when my baby's eyes are open or closed. The night vision is really good as well and you will have no issues seeing the lil one in the dark. The monitor connects to the camera via its own wireless connection so no wifi connection required. The connection is very quick at startup. The camera also has a mic and speaker for two way sound. The volume on the monitor is quite loudand if you are watching tv you will hear everything from grunts to crying. It also plays lullabies like the lion kings 'can you feel the love tonight' and other classics. The monitor has a mode called vox which allows you to put the monitor screen in stanby mode / switched off and will come back on when there is any noise in the room based on the sensitivity you set. The charging cables for the monitor and camera are very long so setup is a breeze. You can keep the monitor connected to the power otherwise on the battery with screen on and box turned off you should get 3 to 4 hours with box turned on its longer. If you want to install the camera on the wall above the bassinet use command strips instead of nails! The camera can be mounted if you want Instead as well.

   Sleek design and very modern look and feel. Love how the camera has its own little stand and you can place it on any flat surface. The monitor also has a built in stand (simply pull it out the little stand at the back of the monitor and it can stand on its own).
   Once fuller charged, you can have it on for many hours without charging, making it ideal for short use (ie: if your child falls asleep in the car seat and you don’t want to wake them, so you leave them sleeping in the car seat but dont want to sit in the car waiting for them to wake up, so you place the camera on the car dashboard and monitor them inside the comfort of your home - you can do some chores or relax knowing if they should wake, then the monitor will allow you to know).
   Great music function with some melodies to help the little ones sleep or go back to sleep if they stir, as well as the talk function.. allows you to soothe the baby from the monitor.
   The VOX function also allows for sound or movements from the camera to stir the monitor to wake up from slumber, this saving power to the unit.
